When I first moved to the US in my early 20s I had to master a flawless American accent quickly. It became essential as I began booking roles in shows like Nip/Tuck, Pretty Little Liars, and Shameless.

I was fortunate to train with coaches who had worked with actors such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Vanessa Redgrave, Tom Hanks, and Anthony Hopkins - and I learned the most efficient approaches to accent work.

Using a practical “cheat sheet”, I show actors how to make quick, natural adjustments so the accent becomes intuitive and something you can rely on in performance, rather than something you have to think about.
