I have worked for many years in the entertainment industry and I love what I do. It’s my passion and I want to share all that I have learned with you.

Born in London but now based in Los Angeles, I have over 25 years of industry experience and more than 100 hours of TV acting credits, including “24” (SAG nomination), Doctor Who, Nip/Tuck, BBC’s Survivors and FX’s The Full Monty. And yes, I was Proto Zoa the intergalactic rockstar in the hugely successful Disney Channel Films, Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century.

I have directed the ABC/Hulu medical drama The Good Doctor, as well as documentaries, plays and commercials. I’m an alumnus of the Sundance Institute, the DGA Mentorship Program and a two-time ABC/Disney Directing Fellow. I’ve worked across formats and alongside artists and creators including Ryan Murphy, Al Pacino, Bret Easton Ellis, Steven Spielberg, Dennis Hopper and Sandra Oh.

I serve as a board members and educator with the Inner City Shakespeare Ensemble helping students use classical material to overcome barriers of race, language and background.

Flexibility

I teach in the moment, just like an actor works in the moment. I rely on a flexible toolkit, but I also trust my instincts. I see the work through the lenses of acting, writing, directing and editing - always in service of uncovering truth, inspiring bold choices and motivating authentic expression. My process shifts with each artist because every actor is different.

Craft

For me, it’s all about what you do with the material. How do you bring it to life? How does talent become craft and how does craft evolve into artistry that truly resonates?

Eclectic

My training is eclectic, shaped by many methods, mentors and years of experience on both sides of the camera. That duel perspective allows me to approach the actor-director relationship with insight, empathy and passion.

Playing Reza Naiyeer in the global Emmy-winning phenomenon “24” gave me invaluable acting experience on a major production, earned me a SAG nomination and offered me the incredible opportunity to work alongside Keifer Sutherland - an inspirational experience that shaped my growth as an actor.
Kill The Man | Seth

My first film to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, co-starring Luke Wilson alongside a fabulous ensemble cast. A charming, offbeat workplace comedy in the vein of Office Space, the film marked one of the few rock-star roles I’ve played over the years—this one being an early favorite: Stoner Seth.
Survivors | Al

Post-apocalyptic drama exploring life after a pandemic kills 90% of humanity. Created by Terry Nation (Doctor Who). Filmed pre-COVID, the show feels eerily prophetic today.
Nip/Tuck | Jude

After seeing the unreleased pilot, I knew I had to be part of this groundbreaking series. Working with Ryan Murphy and an extraordinary cast on what became one of television’s most subversive, cheeky, and provocative shows was a thrill. I loved playing Jude—and finally getting to reveal my American accent in the role. Bold, naughty, and fearless television that will always be considered seminal.
Nightflyers | Murphy

A sci-fi horror series based on George R. R. Martin’s short story, pitched as “The Shining in space”. A wild, effects-heavy shoot with an exceptional cast and crew—physically demanding and hugely memorable. And yes, I got burned and thrown around more than once. All part of the fun.
The Full Monty | Dilip Amagee

It was a role I truly wanted and a rare chance to work alongside some of my British acting heroes. Based on the Oscar-nominated film and written by Oscar winner Simon Beaufoy this was an experience I’ll always value.
Tintin | Multiple roles

An incredible opportunity to be part of a production that not only used groundbreaking motion capture technology to bring to life the books I read as a child BUT also allowed me to be directed by Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson - at the same time!
Director | The Scarecrow

My directorial debut was this short film - a true labor of love that has grown some very long legs! It was a joy collaborating with Sandra Oh, Darren Petrie and Sandra SeaCat to bring the script to life. We premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and went on to win several awards. We’ve now developed the story in to a feature.

I was thrilled to return to the theatre, working alongside two incredibly talented and open-hearted actors, Bridget Regan and Travis Van Winkle. It was a pure joy and we were fortunate to perform to overflowing houses each night.
Dr. Who - The Husband’s of River Song

As a Brit, growing up on this show, stepping onto the TARDIS and into the Doctor Who universe for this beloved Christmas special was a real pinch-me moment. I played Ramone, one of River Song’s many husbands, alongside comic genius Matt Lucas, in a story that perfectly balanced wit, romance, and sci-fi spectacle. A joyful, high-energy episode that leans fully into the show’s sense of play and legacy.
Wilde Salomé

Directed by and starring Al Pacino. I played the Young Syrian in this bold, poetic adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s Salomé. Filming my scenes in the desert under Pacino’s direction was unforgettable—and yes, it ended with a high-five. A rare, electric experience working with one of my acting heroes.
